About Us

LCM’s primary mission is to serve as a « Connection » between some of the main Asian players in the fashion industry and European brands or manufacturers. LCM provides its clients with in-depth experience and knowledge of Asia acquired by its CEO: Olivier KLEIN in this sector since 1988.

LCM started its activities in 2000 as agents of French brands in Asia and Purchasing Office for companies based in SEA, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. Since 2008, we have chosen to focus our activities mainly on the Japanese Market. LCM has since then established and strengthened its collaborations with large Japanese companies such as Shosha, fashion importers / distributors, department stores and multi-brand chain stores (Select Shops).

On the strength of these various experiences, in 2010 we created the LCM Consulting department dedicated to assisting Asian and French companies in their search for local partners, establishment of development strategies in these markets and the establishment of commercial relations with Asian or Europeans customers or distributors.

LCM has a Franco-Japanese team for its French and foreign clients specialized in management of fashion, accessories, lifesyle and cosmetics.

Who we are

After studying law in Paris, Olivier KLEIN founder of LCM started working in Asia (Hong Kong, Korea) in 1985 as an agent of French brands. From 1991 to 1996 he held the position of Commercial and License Director of the Japanese Haute Couture House Hanae Mori Paris. From 1999 to 2000 he was the general management of the Dejac brand.

With his experience in the fashion industry and his passion for Asia, he decided in 2000 to create with his wife Laurence LCM company whose goal is to provide various services to French brands wishing to establish themselves in Asia. Also to Asian companies willing to establish commercial links with European brands (purshasing, EDA, license).

From 2000 to 2008 LCM acted as buying office for companies from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, China and Japan. Since 2008 concentration of LCM activities on the Japanese market :

– European buying office for japanese select-shops chains and department stores.

– Advisor and representative in France of the Fashion Division of major Japanese Shoshas in the context of their Market survey Brand business, licenses and M & A sourcing activities
